Foss

FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) Wing’s leading aim is to nurture and encourage opensource development, making students learn about open source workflow and making them aware about paramount open source events like the Google Summer of Code, Outreachy etc. This is achieved by organising various workshops for guiding students to use various tools like the VCS(Git) & GitHub and by organising the Open Code event for giving students a platform to start their collaboration journey by making their first pull request merged with the open code base. FOSS wing highlights the importance of collaborating with others so as to develop the software in an organised manner and to also get aware of bugs and issues in a fast track manner.
